We believe there is only one true God. (1 Cor 8:6) He created everything – the heavens, the earth and us. (Genesis 1:1) He is the giver and sustainer of life and existence. (Gen 2:7, Psa 104:27-30)

We believe our God is completely perfect and good. (Deut 32:4) In Him there is no darkness or evil. (1 John 1:5)

We believe God created mankind with an eternal plan (John 17:3) to know Him and to bring Him glory. (Isa 43:7, 10)

We believe all of mankind (Psa 14:2-3) has turned away from God by failing His standards. We have chosen to live life our own way (Isa 53:6) and this rebellion is called sin. (Ecc 7:20)

We believe sin has separated us from God, (Isa 59:2) because a perfect God cannot coexist with imperfection. (Rom 3:23)

But we believe God loved mankind so much (Jer 31:3) that He chose to provide us with a way to know Him as He originally intended. (Rom 5:8-10) He did this by sending His Son Jesus Christ to live a perfect, sinless life on Earth. (Heb 4:15)

We believe Jesus lived as 100% God and 100% man. (Phil 2:5-8) So by being crucified on a Cross without deserving punishment, He became the sacrifice for our sins. (2 Cor 5:21) The debt we could not pay for our own sins was paid for by the perfect Son of God. (1 Pet 3:18)

Now, we believe we can have a personal relationship with Almighty God because His Son Jesus has dealt with sin that once separated us from Him. (Eph 2:13-18) We believe Jesus is the only way to God. (1 Tim 2:5-6, John 14:6)

We believe Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, (1 Cor 15:4) and ascended to Heaven (Mark 16:19) where He now lives with Father God. (Heb 1:3)

We believe that anyone who accepts the free gift of Jesus’ sacrifice can obtain salvation and forgiveness of sins. (Rom 10:13, 1 John 1:9) Whoever is covered by the blood of Jesus does not need to fear death (Phil 1:21) because we have the promise of eternal life with God in Heaven. (1 John 2:25)

We believe we are saved only by the grace of God as shown through the Cross (Eph 2:8) – not by our own efforts or good works. (Titus 3:4-5) It’s the grace of God that leads us to repentance (Rom 2:4) and His grace that still forgives us when we fail Him. (Eph 1:7)

We believe God loves everyone (John 3:16) and wills that every person comes to know Him. (2 Pet 3:9) We believe He cares deeply for the welfare of all, (1 Peter 5:7) and has only the best plans for those who accept Him. (Jer 29:11)

Therefore we now believe that our ultimate purpose is to live, not for ourselves, but for God. (2 Cor 5:15) We do this by understanding God’s will for us, (Rom 12:2) and by obeying what He tells us in the Bible. (1 John 5:3)

God assures us that when we choose to live for Him, He will take care of our earthly needs. (Matt 6:33) We believe this because we have experienced it ourselves. (Phil 4:19)

And we believe Jesus is coming back again (John 14:3) to take His followers to their eternal home in Heaven. (1 Thes 4:16-17)
